Vegetarian Lap Mei Fan

Ingredients

Rice

  • 3 cups low sugar white rice

For Frying

  • 50g butter
  • 30g ginger (sliced)

Protein

  • 130g vegetarian Chinese sausage
  • 130g vegetarian char siu
  • 8 pcs fresh shiitake mushrooms

Sauce

  • 1 ½ tbsp concentrated vegetarian stock
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp mushroom powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp white pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp five spice powder
  • 150ml water

Garnishing

  • 30g carrot
  • 10g coriander

Method:

  1. Cook 3 cups of low sugar white rice using the Noxxa Low Sugar Rice Cooker. Set aside.
  2. Roast the protein ingredients in the preheated Noxxa BreadMaker Oven Toaster at 200°C for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Heat up the Noxxa Low Sugar Rice Cooker inner pot using the Stir Fry function. Set the cooking time for 30 minutes.
  4. Add the butter and ginger.
  5. Add the roasted protein ingredients and sauce, then stir fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Pour the mixture into the cooked rice and mix well.
  7. Garnish with julienned carrot and coriander.
