In December 2014, we signed up as ABOs to support a friend and buy the products. In addition to running our own business, Safwan was both working as an ICT consultant and held the position of a director at a private company.
In February the following year, I received my first Amway bonus – RM200 – for selling an electrical appliance to a friend. Following that, our uplines visited us regularly at our shop to share about the Amway Business Opportunity and open our minds to its potential. The turning point came when we finally attended a business seminar in Kelana Jaya.
From then on, we started to take our Amway business seriously. Starting with new ABO training, we continued to build this business one day at a time. Even though we faced various challenges, we continued to move forward because we believed that one day, we would eventually achieve the Diamond pin.
Our first all expenses paid Amway trip was to Hokkaido, Japan, in 2018. The next year, we achieved Founders Platinum and were invited to Dubai, then we achieved Emerald and were invited to Sydney, Australia, in 2020. That year, thanks to the generous income from our Amway business, Safwan was able to resign both from his job and his directorship at the private company.
In 2021, we qualified Founders Emerald and were invited for the Alaskan Cruise. The following year, we were invited to Istanbul, Turkey, and achieved the Diamond pin. Nothing could compare to the annual bonuses, leadership bonuses and trips abroad from Amway – they were so much more rewarding in so many ways.
